Position Overview
We’re seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver personalized, hands-on care. You’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients through their rehabilitation journey—helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence in the comfort of their homes.

What You’ll Do as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Â Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
- Â Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Â Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued care at home
- Â Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Â Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
What We’re Looking For in a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Â Active Virginia PTA license & CPR certification
-  1–2+ years of experience as a PTA (home health experience preferred but not required)
- Â Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Â Ability to work independently while following a plan of care
- Â Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Â Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus
